Let’s take a stroll down the sidewalk today

or may be catch a movie,

Let’s talk about life today

And how it has treated You and Me...

Let’s give a miss to the good night kiss,

Maybe we could just hold hands today

Let’s debate over silly things

Or whatever is new in politics

How ‘bout singing me a song tonight?

Heard that u really liked the one on the radio

What about bonding over tea?

We could spend the evening on the patio.

Let me dress up for dinner today,

We won’t watch TV while we eat.

Sit across me with a bottle of wine

And let’s make that a habit!

It’s been months since I have watched you eat,

Cutting adorably into that steak,

It’s been some time that we both have

Taken each other for granted.

I know I will wake up in the middle of the night

Just to hear your breath so deep

Watching me while I sleep

We used to do that a year back
